Provide production engineering support to the Processing Center to increase efficiency,
quality, and overall effectiveness in processing customer data. The Production Data Engineer performs data analysis and manipulation of data in order to execute customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Write scripts and other small utilities to migrate and massage data.
• Development QA tools and prototypes to help in the production environment.
• Create automation tools to aid in the processing of data, turning manual steps into automated processes
• Work closely with Technology Development Group. Communicate trends in customer requirements that may require new product or product enhancement development effort.

 Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience: 

• BSCS, or equivalent, and at least two years of related experience.
• 2-3 years development experience SQL Server 2005 required; creativity and resourcefulness.
• Successful candidates will have experience/skills in troubleshooting, working in a software QA or technical support environment.
• Must have experience working under strict deadlines where customer responsiveness is the norm.

 Desired Skills, Knowledge and Experience: 

• .Net experience would be a plus
• Perl, Python or other scripting languages would be a plus
• Experience with reporting applications (Analysis Server, Crystal Reports) and advanced experience in business intelligence applications (Excel, Access, etc.) would be a plus
