- Position Description:

- SAP SRM Business Systems Analyst
to support the Purchasing Department. Leverages detailed knowledge
of the procure-to-pay business process to analyze
business needs/opportunities and implement solutions which support
strategic business objectives. Responsible for collaborating
with North American and International Purchasing to act as primary
liaison between customers and IT to ensure successful delivery
of IT solutions.

- Responsibilities:
Work closely with business customers to create business
cases with ROI analysis for new proposals
Create project/program plans, requirement specifications,
use cases, and process flows
Create and maintain system documentation including: designs,
test plans, training documentation, and release notes
Coordinate and perform QA functions including system testing,
user acceptance testing, and customer signoff
Create and deliver customer training on new/existing systems,
or on modifications to existing systems
Ensure clear communication and collaboration between customers,
IT management, software developers, vendors, and contractors
Responsible for managing small projects, and working with
IT Project Management on larger projects/programs
Perform technical configuration, testing and troubleshooting
for software solutions
Document, track and prioritize software defects as well
as enhancement requests from customers
Work with customers to document system issues, initiate
troubleshooting to drive problem resolution
Coordinate content/scheduling of software releases for
software patches and functionality enhancements
Create/maintain release notes and release documentation

Required Skills, Knowledge
and Experience:
- BS degree, preferably in Engineering
or Computer Science
- Minimum 5 years experience in
a business analyst/consulting role
- Demonstrated skill and knowledge
of the procure-to-pay business process
- Experience with IT software
development lifecycle methodologies and processes
- Technical experience with SAP
SRM, SAP Enterprise Portal, SAP Workflow, SAP R/3 Purchasing
- Extremely strong written and
verbal communication skills
- Solid analytical, negotiation
and problem solving skills
- Experience managing small to
medium size projects
- Experience working with 3rd
party IT integration partners
- Ability to work flexible hours
in support of global customers
- Experience with MS Office applications
(Visio, Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Desired Skills, Knowledge
and Experience:
- Experience with ClearQuest a
plus
- SAP ABAP and or Java Web dynpro
development experience desirable/a plus, but not required
- Experience with SAP ECC 6.0
functionality a plus
