Required Skills, Knowledge
and Experience:
- 5+ years network engineering
experience
- Core competency: Design, implement
and manage IP networks to meet service level goals.
- Routing expertise. Someone who
has actually designed and is capable of managing and forecasting
proposed changes.
- Requires extensive knowledge
of LAN/WAN, and Internet Technologies.
- Frequently On-call 7x24 as an
escalation point
- Some work must be done on weekends
and/or evenings
- Relevant certifications
- Cisco Certified Network Professional
(CCNP)
- Cisco Certified Design Professional
(CCDP)
- Cisco Certified Security Professional
(CCSP)
- Certified Information Systems
Security (CISSP)
- Microsoft Certified System Engineer
(MCSE)
- Other Cisco and Microsoft Certs
- ITIL Foundations / Practitioner
