Length of Engagement: 12 month Contract

Position Summary:

 

Responsibilities:

• Configure, maintain and upgrade engineering test systems.
• Achieve optimum system uptime by troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
• Develop code in Perl to be executed across numerous servers with standard builds.
• Develop solutions using Java SE and JavaScript.
• Develop code utilizing standard APIs and processes to integrate system modules.
• Help evaluate and deploy latest open source technologies for software development.
• Gather and implement test set up, test execution and test reporting requirements.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience: 

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Programming experience in Perl, Java SE, Python and SQL on Unix and have working knowledge of XML documents, data formats and, Oracle 9i.
• Must be self-motivated and have excellent documentation and communication skills and be comfortable working directly with users/customers.
