Position Description:

 

As an Oracle Developer in this role you will be responsible for life cycle development efforts of Oracle applications for Internal/External Customers.

Responsibilities include planning, developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing the Oracle applications environment, as well as all associated interfaces and reporting. The work will be engaging and fast paced.

 

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop changes to Oracle-based software
• Map customer requirements to application functionality
• Develop program specifications
• Define software tests
• Provide maintenance support
• Integrate solution into customer's IT
• Analyze customer change requests and formulate solutions
• Research, resolve and document software issues
• Test implemented solutions, new applications, and assist customer with user acceptance testing
• Communicate with customer and build relationships; organize open issues; prepare reports
• Prepare users by mapping terminology and procedures to client's operating environment

Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience: 

• Training/experience with Oracle databases and SQL - (Oracle RDBMS, SQL*Plus)
• Training/experience with programming languages - (PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, Java)
• Experience with development tools like TOAD, SQL*Developer, Oracle Designer
• Experience with operating systems and scripting - (Windows, Unix/Linux)
• Experience with integration technologies (MQ, FTP)
• Experience with Microsoft Office

Desired Skills, Knowledge and Experience: 

• Knowledge of Project Management Practices is beneficial but not necessary
