- IT Specialist Systems Analysis
& Development
- This position will work on complex
applications requiring specialized technical knowledge, Systems
Analysis and Development.
- This person will provide production
support for multiple Corporate System applications and coordinate
with users to determine requirements and ensure that system improvements
are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency.
- Applications support commercial
& trading and risk management systems, from Client server
to web.
- Competencies:
- Technical skills including programming,
installation, configuration, and database management
- Analysis and design skills involving
ability to gather data on systems issues, define alternative
approaches, assess business impact, recommend cost effective
solutions, and develop and implement those solutions.
- Communication and interpersonal
skills for consulting with clients to understand needs, define
requirements, and provide effective solutions.

Required Skills,
Knowledge and Experience:
- 5+ years experience in business
application design, development, installation and/or modification
in an online environment.
- .NET framework experience
- C# programming language experience
- Experience with n-tier distributed
applications and knowledge and experience with object oriented
design and design patterns
- Experience developing web services
- BS Computer Science, Info Systems
or equivalent combination education & experience
- Experience in the industry or
in an environment whose scope, size and complexity are comparable.
- Knowledge of relevant technology,
tools and middleware including development technologies and scripting
languages is critical.
- Excellent verbal and written
communication skills with an ability to express complex technical
concepts in business terms.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving
and conceptual skills
- Very strong interpersonal skills
and ability to work well with others within and across the organization.
- Conceptual knowledge of information
technologies and methodologies in mainframe, midrange and PC
computing environments.

- Experience with Oracle PL-SQL
