Position Description:
 
This position will support client and the IS department with the implementation, management, administration, and maintenance of our dashboard reporting system. Using various methodologies, this position will be responsible for defining the data requirements to support operational measures for a variety of units within client. This position will be expected to work within the Information Systems department in determining the data sources, collecting the data, and organizing the information using Statit software, our dashboard organization and reporting tool.
 
Responsibilities / Functions:
  • Responsible for assisting with development of operational and strategic dashboards
  • Provide hands-on expertise for implementation, configuration and on-going support of Statit software
  • Work directly with all departments, Primary Care Renewal partners, Accelerated Process Improvement Teams and the Board of Directors to understand data and reporting needs.
  • Create run charts and other appropriate reports as needed
  • Assigned projects to include analysis, system configuration, operational implementation, process documentation, training and testing
  • Ability to resolve user questions through a combination of independent study, investigative programming and collaborative efforts with team members
  • Ability to participate fully and constructively in department meetings, department decisions and department growth
  • Coordinate the installation of Statit upgrades and fixes
  • Work effectively with vendor to monitor and maintain Statit software performance and integrity
  • Provide Statit expertise and assistance to external and internal customers
  • Provide education and training on Essential Position Functions
  • Ability to work with people of varied technical backgrounds
  • Strong understanding of functions and workflows of health insurance
  • Strong project management skills
  • Effective presentation, organization and training abilities
  • Experience creating requirements and defining business rules
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and user documentation
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to develop detailed work plans, prioritize tasks and meet objectives.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience: 

  • Bachelors degree in statistics/math, quality assurance, computer science or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years programming experience
  • 1+ Years experience with Statit Software
  • Advanced programming skills, preferably in Transact SQL
  • Dashboard and healthcare experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of the installation of web applications
