Required Skills, Knowledge
and Experience:
- IT project manager with 5+ years
of experience managing complex IT projects of an appropriate
size
- 3-5 years of experience implementing
medium to large projects including experience with HRIS applications
such as Peoplesoft, SAPHR, ADP EV3 or Kronos.
- Experience with Time & Attendance,
badge scanning systems and integration with payroll systems preferred.
- Experience managing external
offsite software solution providers
- Tools/Applications:
- MS Office
- MS Project
- VISIO
- Exceptional organizational skills
in preparing project planning documents, schedules, and adhering
to rigorous quality gate processes.
- Experience implementing 3rd
party vendor packages
- Ability to design solutions,
present alternatives, reach consensus, control scope creep, dive
into technical detail, match technical skills to technical needs,
etc. hands-on vs. having had project team leads or other team
members that this person merely coordinated
- Experience with business customers
needing significant process development or re-engineering
- Proven track record meeting
budget and schedule while still meeting or exceeding business
requirements and goals
- Flexibility to potentially manage
multiple smaller projects concurrently
- Experience with a known project
methodology (like MSF/RUP) and willingness to learn our project
methodology
- PMI or PMP certification required.
Excellent communicator and people leader
