- Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership in gathering,
clarifying, & documenting requirements for application projects,
service and support requests within the Client. Analyze and resolve
support and enhancement requests for numerous applications.
- Responsibilities include the
facilitation of work throughout the entire IT life cycle, which
includes working with IT architects to identify a technical solution,
facilitating IT estimates and staffing needs, providing work
oversight and customer status, and facilitating user testing.
- Actively work with customers
to analyze business needs, gather and document business and system
requirements
- Heavy communication (verbal
and written) with business system users, and IT staff
- Write specifications for changes
required for support and enhancements
- Facilitate meetings and document
outcome
- Perform business process analysis
- Facilitate user testing
- Facilitate IT work estimates
- Extensive understanding of business
and technical side of each application assigned
- Document use cases and closely
interact with developers and QA
- Understand IT processes and
work within designated guidelines
- Perform Application Ownership
Responsibilities
- Create test cases and test plans
- Test and review support and
enhancement application/code changes
- Obtain approvals for support
and enhancement changes from IT and business depts.
- Assign and monitor coding effort
for support and enhancement changes
- Analyze and test environment
changes for potential impact on each assigned application
- 24x7 On-call responsibilities
- Lead meetings for requirement
gathering and issue resolution
- Keep application documentation
current with changes and issues
- Provide expert level knowledge
on each assigned application (both technical and business level),
application interfaces, application environments, general impact
analysis, IT processes for project, changes, and support.
- Analyze and test Client business
changes for potential impact on each application
- Modify communication methods
based on customer needs and personality
- Provide quick high-level estimates
for changes within a day
- Perform database updates
- Analyze data discrepancies
- Create support tickets for situations
that arise (such as customer calls, invalid test results outside
areas that were changed)
- High level analysis to provide
PSR (enhancements) initial estimates
- Attend meetings to represent
application within IT and/or aid in business decisions
- Monitor and review other projects
or enhancements that are making changes to applications within
area of responsibility
- Maintain good working relationships
with development staff
- Provide informal application
training to our customers
- Work with the User Education
team to keep training and help documents up-to-date.

Required Skills, Knowledge
and Experience:
- Must have 5+ years experience
in an IT analyst role
- Must have excellent verbal and
written communication skills
- Must have 2+ years experience
IT technical experience
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, VISIO,
MS Project
- SQL database display tools (like
InSync, SQL Server, SPUFI)
